SERVICE PROGRAM
Dent Zone is a 3-year
(unlimited) Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) coverage that allows for the paintless
removal of dents from all vertical panels on the automobile. The
coverage was designed to protect your members’ automobile investment against
door dings and small dents without the need for expensive and time-consuming
body shop repairs.
Dent Zone is available on both new and used automobiles, up to 5 model years old (00 or newer). The contract may be purchased at the time of the vehicle purchase or within 5 years from the vehicle’s original in-service date. The actual paintless dent removal may be performed by appointment – with preauthorization - by an Authorized Technician.

coverage is both easy AND convenient! The member receives courteous efficient
service that exceeds expectations.
One call to the toll-free
Claims Center number (877.294.0185) handles it all. A Dent Zone representative
takes the claim information and contacts a certified repair technician to
schedule the repair.
Once the claim is scheduled for repair, the member meets the Certified
Technician at the designated location and repairs the auto while they wait! Most
Dent Zone repairs can be completed in about the time required for an oil change.
The repair can take place:
· At the dealership
· At any certified repair center
· At any pre-arranged meeting place
What is Paintless Dent Repair? (PDR)
· A process that permanently remove automotive door dings and minor dents using specialized hand tools to manipulate and flex the metal back to its original form
· Works from behind the vehicle’s damage, it does not require sanding, painting, or body fillers
· Helps to retain the vehicle’s resale value. In most cases, there is no evidence a dent ever existed
DENT ZONE COVERAGE
REPAIRABLE DAMAGE: A Dent Zone Technician will examine and determine if dent can be repaired. Dent Zone retains sole authority in determining if repair can be made with PDR process and explanation is given for any dent not repairable using PDR.
· No limit to the number of times the PDR process can be used during the 3 year contract period
· Most small dents and dings (nickel, dime and quarter sized dings) on exterior vertical body panels can be repaired
· Paint transfer and light abrasions can often be rubbed out during the PDR process
· Contract includes $300 Hail Coupon for discount on PDR service in the event your vehicle is damaged by hail.
Excluded from Dent Zone Coverage:
· Size and location of the dents help determine if PDR is a viable option
· Dings larger than a credit card
· Collision damage, deep dents, creases or larger dents are not covered and generally require conventional body shop repair methods
· Hail damage
· Scratched or chipped paint, or body shop painting
· Environmental damage
Transferable Contract: Remaining term of agreement may be transferred to a subsequent owner
· Only by the original contract holder
· Only when vehicle is sold to another private party
· Must be transferred within 30 days of the sale of the vehicle
· $50 transfer fee
Cancellations: Only the lien holder may cancel this policy, and only if the vehicle is repossessed.
· If within 90 days of the effective date of the policy, and no claims have been made, lien holder will receive full refund of the purchase price – less a $50 cancellation fee.
· After 90 days the lien holder will receive a pro rata refund based on the days in force compared to the term, less a $50 cancellation fee.
PRICING:
NEW VEHICLES: $159.00 Credit Union Cost
Current year model (03/04 with less than 1000 miles). Dent Zone will remove all qualifying dings for a period of 3 years from the contract purchase date.
USED VEHICLES: $259.00 Credit Union Cost
Vehicles up to 5 model years old (00 or newer). Dent Zone will remove all qualifying dings for a period of 3 years from the contract purchase date.

Important Note: Dent Zone is not an insurance policy. It is an additional service agreement. This does not replace primary collision or comprehensive insurance policies; it is minor dent/ding coverage.
